Amenities include...a gas grill, washer/dryer, cable TV and a fish cleaning station on the dock. Grocery stores, restaurants, dive shops and marinas are only a few minutes away as are a post office and gas stations.

Diving...The house is ideally situated for snorkeling and diving in the waters of the Atlantic or Gulf. Nearby in the Atlantic is Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary. Here you will find some of the most breathtaking underwater scenery that the U.S. has to offer. In addition to Looe Key, the Atlantic abounds with beautiful areas to snorkel and dive.

Fishing...The fishing is great!! You have your choice of fishing in the canal, off nearby bridges, in the Atlantic or in the back country. You can fish for Tarpon, Snapper, King Fish, Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi), Grouper, and Yellow Tail to name a few. For the less experienced, fishing guides are plentiful and reasonable, as are nearby boat rentals. Some of the Keys' best lobstering waters are located in the shallow waters near Sawyer and Content Keys in the Gulf. Catching your dinner is an experience to be remembered.

Sunbathing...For the serious sunbather, the concrete dock behind the house offers a great place to sunbath. For the beach lover, the Bahia Honda Beach is reported to be one of the best 10 beaches in the U.S.

Boating/Jet Skis...Numerous nearby places exist where you can rent boats or Jet Skis. Enjoy the Keys from the water.

Our home is located on the ocean side of Cudjoe Key at mile marker 23. It is located on a wide canal that has excellent access to the Gulf and Atlantic for World Class fishing, diving, snorkeling and lobstering.

It is in a quiet residential neighborhood which is close enough to Key West to drive down for shopping or a night out on the town, but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle of Key West.

It is 23 miles from the Key West airport, 27 miles from the Marathon airport and about 120 miles from the Miami International airport.

Rental Details:

The house is rented by the month. Rates are $3000-5000 plus tax, utilities and a clean up charge. Rentals are handled by a local real estate agent so that any problems will be handled quickly and expertly.
